Fall Colors and Wildlife Photography Workshop

Fall is the perfect time of year to be in Grand Teton and Yellowstone. The cottonwoods and aspens begin changing by mid-September, frosty mornings are interrupted by bugling elk, black bears are gorging themselves on ripened berries while dramatic autumn skies provide iconic landscapes around every corner.

Bison and pack horses graze in front of the Tetons while grizzly bears are entering hyperphagia in Yellowstone. The odd fall blizzard provides drama to landscape photography.

You will learn proper depth of field for landscapes, proper shutter speed for wildlife, how to effectively slide around crowds and most importantly during this busy time year, when to be where.

Our focus is more on landscapes, but we will take the wildlife opportunities that mother nature provides. As such we will spend more time in the Tetons.
