I was hoping to see my first grizzly bear when I returned to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP this year so I decided to look for a guide to increase my chances.  I’ve been following grizzly 399’s story since last year and stumbled upon Team 399 while looking for people who were familiar with her on Facebook.  I looked them up online and seen the great reviews which led me to contacting them.  I chatted with them a little bit which led me to hiring them for a half day.  We had our tour on October 6 and Team 399 exceeded my expectations.  I finally seen my first grizzly named Snow in Yellowstone but also another animal I’ve had on my bucket list, a owl(not one but 2) a long with other animals.  Jack and Gina made the whole tour fun and interesting plus educational because they’re both extremely knowledgeable about both parks.  They’re also genuinely good people who we felt comfortable with from the start and you could also tell that they love wildlife especially bears. We booked the whole day with Jack & Gina (Team399) and were blown away with the amazing experience we had with them! I received wonderful photography education & experience at the same time as a fabulous tour and education about the park & animals! My non-photographer husband really enjoyed the day with them, as well. They took wonderful care of us and gave us an experience of a lifetime! I couldn’t believe that we saw elk, moose, bison, and even grizzly bear in just one day! Next time, we’ll be booking a multiple day trip with them! Best investment of time and money! Jack and Gina are the BEST!  Had them for two half days in July, and so glad we booked them.  We had incredible sightings, including Grizzly 610 & 3 cubs for 3 hours!
Everything we had on our “wish list” to see was delivered via their keen knowledge of wildlife in GTNP.

Delicious coffee and snacks were provided (including GF for my daughter).  Gina and Jack are a wealth of knowledge on wildlife, and we learned so much during our time with them.  They are truly nice people and they delivered a top notch experience.  Highly recommend.

My sister and I went out with Jack and Gina on a wildlife tour. This was one of the most fantastic experiences of my life! They are so hospitable and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. Had a great time touring around with Jack.  It’s so nice to be able to have both my husband and I be able to relax instead of stressing over driving.  Also have good photo tips. Fantastic Trip Including 399 Coming Out of the Den With Her Family

Another fantastic adventure with Team 399 (Jack and Gina). We were with them for a photography tour in 2021 and joined them again in April 2022. Our goal on this trip was to see 399 and her cubs one final time before they split up later this year and we were not disappointed. Along with Jack and Gina, we were the first to see 399 and family as they came out of the den. Jack and Gina are very knowledgeable about Grand Teton National Park and the wildlife there. They are very passionate about protecting the wildlife and the environment. Jack has been a tremendous help teaching my husband, Dave, with his new camera and has taught him a great deal about settings and the equipment. Great to have them as friends. We spent 11 days with Jack and Gina in December 2021 exploring the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. If you want the best experiences in these parks, then you need to hire a guide and Jack and Gina are the best in the business. They made us feel like family while we were with them and went above and beyond in every way.

Starting with pickup at the airport, everything was taken care of for us. Gina made sure we were as comfortable as possible and even took drink and snack orders to make sure the truck was stocked to our liking. Jack is passionate about the wildlife and conservation and was able to answer all of our questions from animal behaviors, to habitats, to photography.

There is no doubt in my mind that our experiences in the parks were at least 5 times better with Jack and Gina. We got to see wolves, otters, eagles, foxes, coyotes, moose, elk, bison, bighorn sheep, and pronghorns. Let me tell you now, just stop looking for another guide.  Jack and Gina are the BEST, I mean the absolute best!  My wife and I had a day to remember and came away with some incredible photography.  But even if I was not taking pics, the experience they provide is absolutely one you will never forget...thanks guys!!!
