SPRING GRIZZLY BEAR PHOTO WORKSHOP

399, 610, Blondie, Felicia, Raspberry and Snow. Oh my! Include a cast of supporting grizzlies and we will be busy. Most of our photography workshops are hybrids. We take wildlife and landscapes as mother nature provides, but this photo workshop is about grizzly bears.

In addition to learning how to ethically photograph grizzly bears, you will learn their behavior, their culture, their history and how to safely interact with them.

Our preferred lodging for the photo tour is the Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton and the Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone. This cuts our commute time considerably.

The best spring grizzly photography is from around May 8 when Yellowstone’s interior opens to about June 21 when Teton bears can begin being more elusive. This varies a bit from year to year.
