GRAND TETON AND YELLOWSTONE SPRING PHOTO EXPEDITION

Spring comes late to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, but ushers in a rush of new life from all corners of the animal and plant kingdoms. Songbirds return then follow the retreating snow into the high country. Cubs, pups, kits, colts and calves emerge beginning in late April.

Wildflowers blanket the ground by early June, lasting well into the summer in the mountains. By late May Yellowstone’s waterfalls are overflowing. All four seasons may occur in the same day.

This longer spring photography workshop is a hybrid tour. Concentrate on grizzlies then add time for more wildlife and landscapes through Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Photograph the Great Lakes of the Tetons, learn time lapse photography and how to safely and ethically photograph grizzly bears and other wildlife.

You will come out of this trip with a thorough understand of your camera and how to use it as an extension of yourself.
